2026 Registration

MSYF registration is open to all Mahomet-Seymour residents who are entering 5th-8th grade.

Each team (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th) has a cap of 36 players.

Please make sure you are marking the grade for FALL 2026.

Grades

When

Practice begins on Monday, July 27. The season runs until the end of September.

Where

Practices are held at 13 Acres Park and home games are played at Frank Dutton Field at MSHS.

Practices

Teams practice 5 times per week (M-F) during the first 2 weeks, then 3 times per week once the school year begins on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Games

Teams will play 8 games over the course of the season. Saturdays are game days.

Equipment

Helmets, shoulder pads, practice pants, game pants, practice jerseys, game jerseys, girdles, belts and game socks are provided to each player.

Volunteer

Families of registered participants will be assigned duties during home games. Your assignment will not interfere with watching your player.

2026 MSYF registration.

Teams are divided by grade. 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th.

Please make sure you are marking your player's grade in the FALL of 2026. There are birthday parameters attached to grade levels; if your child falls out of the "normal" birthdays for that grade, MSYF can override those parameters.
